ZwiftQuest Saturday – Pairs and Teams of Four

ZwiftQuest Saturday – Pairs and Teams of Four

Team up with three fellow Zwifters or just the one to form Fours and Pairs to ride together adventure around Watopia this Saturday January 27th. The aim of this ZwiftQuest is to navigate around Watopia to all the checkpoints in the fastest way possible or the shortest route but you must do it as a team of Four or as a Pair.

You can complete all the checkpoints in any order and navigate to them by any route. Plan ahead of time, strategize your route or just go for it on the day, it is up to you!

Joining the in-game event will send you on a route towards the Start/Finish Arch. Just before the Arch, the event function will end and you will be free to navigate. Your quest will start when the first rider in your team passes under the Start/Finish Arch for the first time and it will end once you have navigated to all the checkpoints and the last rider in your team passes under the Start/Finish Arch for the final time in your ride. You can take any direction at junctions you want, make u-turns, use power-ups, draft and swap bikes if you want to complete the quest. All team members must ride at the same time and every team member must go to all the checkpoints including the Start and Finish locations.

In order to qualify your attempt you must save your ride with “ZQSAT27” in the activity name and upload to Strava. You must also login with Strava at ZwiftQuest.com (link – http://zwiftquest.com/my-zwift-quest/) so that your attempt will be included in the results.

Your Checkpoints
– Green Sprint Arch
– Third Stone Arch On The Volcano Climb
– Epic Climb Forward 100m Marker
– Epic Climb Reverse 100m Marker
– Hilly Climb KOM/QOM Start Line

Helpful Hints
– If you want to track your progress and get a better idea of the location of the checkpoints head to www.ZwiftGPS.com where on Saturday there will be a map with the ZwiftQuest Checkpoints marked.
– Check out the video of the checkpoints of the events pinned to facebook.com/zwiftcommunitylive
– Download the Quest Card (link – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XPoJhX_NYVd6RDDSHQvlTRQAJx5tox2b/view?usp=sharing) for the event to get an idea where the checkpoints are located.

FAQs
Q. Do I need to do anything at the checkpoints? (e.g., take a picture, give a Ride On, etc.)
A. No just ride past them – the website validates that you go there through the GPS position of the checkpoint.

Q. For finishing, does it matter what direction I pass under the Start/Finish arch?
A. Any direction

Making/joining a team
Head to www.zwiftquest.com and login to MyZwiftQuest. With the event selected there are instructions at the top of the page to either make or join a team.

Making a team – give your team a unique name, then share out the code with your team members. Sharing it to one Zwifter will make a Pair, sharing it to three Zwifters will make a team of Four.

Joining a team – enter the code your team leader has given you in the join a team box and you will be linked together to make your attempt.

For this Saturday only pairs and teams of fours will count in the results.
